Jifiti

Jifiti offers a white-label BNPL solution for lenders and merchants via API integration to offer their own BNPL solutions for in-store or online purchases. Jifiti partners with banks such as Citizens Bank in the US and Crédit Agricole in France to originate consumer loans through its platform but also allows customers to partner with lenders of their choice. Jifiti launched a split payment solution in January 2022 to complement its offering and the company revealed that its offering is differentiated from many direct-to-consumer split payment options due to its white-labeled and off-the-shelf nature. The solution will initially go live with financial services company Universo during Q1 2022.

Jifiti received USD 22.5 million from Ingka Investments, the investment arm of Ingka Group (operator of furniture retail company IKEA), in return for a minority stake in its business in August 2021. The deal extends an existing partnership with the group through which IKEA has offered financing solutions across its e-commerce stores using Jifiti’s technology since 2019. The fresh funds are expected to be utilized in Jifiti’s technology and product development and to expand its global footprint.
