SunSpear Games is a video game developer of Immortal: Gates of Pyre Battle (Immortal), a real-time strategy (RTS) game for esports. It's a free-to-play PC game that follows a similar business model to that of Fortnite. As of January 2022, the game is in its alpha release stage with an open beta scheduled during the year. The company claims that its preliminary tests received a 93% positive response among professional gamers.

As of March 2021, the company had disclosed approximately USD 2 million in funding. Its financial backers and advisers include Victor Goossens (Founder, Team Liquid), Anna Prosser (esports media personality), and Chris Loranger (President of esports, The Kraft Group). In the same month, the company announced that its kickstarter campaign, which will be used for the development of Immortal, exceeded its funding target by over 300% within 10 days and that its initial target was reached within 4 hours of the crowdfunding effort’s launch. Furthermore, it received a grant from game developer Epic Games’ Epic MegaGrant, a USD 100 million program designed to service and assist game developers, in January 2022.
