Netherlands-based Gradyent is an AI cloud platform designed to assist heating companies in enhancing the efficiency of their heating systems while minimizing CO2 emissions. Utilizing its real-time Digital Twin Platform, the company generates a digital copy of the entire heating grid, facilitating real-time optimization, decarbonization, and transformation of heating systems.
The company’s solutions include temperature control, pressure control, production scheduling and control, user control, issue detection and predictive maintenance, and design and simulation. Gradyent claims its solutions deliver a 15% improvement in heat loss savings, a 10% reduction in CO2 emissions, and a 5% saving on fuel consumption, among other benefits.
Key customers and partnerships
In June 2022, Gradient partnered with Uniper to reduce costs and CO2 emissions. Meanwhile, it served a customer base including Mantova, Wien Energie, Turku, Helen, Ennatuurlijk, and Eneco (April 2024).
Funding and financials
Gradyent raised EUR 10 million (USD 10.17 million) through a Series A funding round in August 2022 led by Capricorn Partners to invest in improving heating systems and making them more efficient.
