Airturb

Airturb is a Dutch startup that develops vertical, compact wind turbines. The company’s first product–Model One–can be deployed in any flat location to generate wind energy and is catered toward both consumers and large companies.

Model one also contains a solar panel system at its base and has a peak solar generation of 120 W and a maximum wind generation of 300 W. It is also claimed to have a vibration-free, silent, and animal-friendly operation. The complete Airtub Model One set comes included with a base v2 solar and a DuoVolt wind inverter at a price of EUR 4,235 (USD 4,665) per unit.
