Rune Labs offers a data analytics platform and an app that tracks and monitors the symptoms of patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. The platform provides a dashboard with patient data and connects patients with clinical trials for treatments, biopharma companies and medical device manufacturers.
The company operates a mobile app, StrivePD, which users and clinicians can use to record symptoms, manage care, collect data for clinician review through connected devices, and streamline patient/clinician communication. The app is only available on the Apple App Store, but is free to download.
In June 2022, Rune Labs received FDA 510(k) clearance for its StrivePD Parkinson’s monitoring app, which measures and tracks symptoms via a patient’s Apple Watch. The gathered data will be used to help improve patient care and design clinical trials for novel treatments. The app additionally allows patients to track medication adherence, side effects, and other symptoms related to medication. In September 2024, Rune Labs introduced StrivePD-AI, which incorporates genAI and large language models to analyze multimodal data streams and generate personalized insights and recommendations for patients.
Rune Labs supports clinical trials and drug development by enabling pharmaceutical companies to remotely collect patient data for clinical trials, providing a more comprehensive view of disease progression and treatment efficacy.
