Verto Health

Verto Health is a Canadian digital health company that offers a Digital Twin Orchestration Platform. Its patented machine learning technology consolidates data from various sources to create normalized, contextual snapshots – known as 'Digital Twins' – of each patient's healthcare journey. Verto's platform then automates actions across different systems while securely managing consent, data, and communication.

In October 2022, Unity Health Toronto implemented Verto's technology to help manage ambulatory patient flow, streamline consent management, and transform patient experience across dozens of ambulatory clinics. Verto's solution allowed Unity Health to coordinate and engage with patients before, during, after, and in-between hospital visits, supporting care pathway management and enhancing the patient experience.

Key customers and partnerships

In July 2023, Verto Health partnered with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) to develop a web-based Digital Front Door platform. This platform aimed to digitize the patient journey and support data-driven, measurement-based care for CAMH's patients and care providers. The collaboration involved co-designing, configuring, and implementing the Digital Front Door to act as a single-point of entry for CAMH patients and families, enabling virtual care and integrating various patient-facing information systems.
