Mediobanca

Mediobanca (BIT: MB) is an Italian investment bank headquartered in Milan, Italy. Founded in 1946, Mediobanca has played a central role in Italy's economy for decades, providing corporate and investment banking services to many of the country's largest companies.

Mediobanka offers a range of services including corporate and investment banking, wealth management, consumer banking, and asset management. Its corporate and investment banking division provides advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and corporate restructuring. The bank's wealth management arm, Mediobanca Private Banking, serves high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Mediobanca also operates in consumer finance through its subsidiary Compass Banca.

In recent years, Mediobanca has focused on expanding its wealth management capabilities. In January 2024, the bank launched Mediobanca Premier, a new division targeting affluent retail clients. Mediobanca has also made acquisitions in the Buy Now Pay Later space, purchasing Soisy in Italy and HeidiPay in Switzerland. The bank is aiming to grow its wealth management division to become the second largest revenue contributor by 2026. As of May 2022, Mediobanca serviced over USD 130 billion in global client assets.
