CenterPoint Education Solutions

CenterPoint Education Solutions is a non-profit organization that works with schools and education systems to provide standards-aligned assessments and professional coaching to help improve instructional practice and student outcomes. In partnership with educators, CenterPoint designs and develops classroom assessments and tasks allowing students to demonstrate their knowledge in alignment with local standards and curriculum. These assessments can be delivered on a variety of platforms to provide educators with an assessment of student knowledge and skills quickly and efficiently.

To achieve its mission of supporting student success, CenterPoint seeks to align its assessments with high-rated curriculums. For example, in July 2019, the organization announced the launch of IM Certified Interim assessments aligned to the Illustrative Mathematics grade 6-8 Math curriculum that is used by over 300 US districts. Further, in February 2020, CenterPoint announced that it had designed interim assessments aligned to the EL Education grade K-8 Language Arts curriculum.

CenterPoint also partners with other platforms to expand its reach. For instance, in May 2017, the organization announced a new partnership with Illuminate Education, provider of integrated K-12 technology systems including data analytics and assessments, to make CenterPoint’s standards-aligned content available to Illuminate’s 1,600 school and district customers over the Illuminate Data and Assessment (DnA) platform which will handle the administration, reporting, and analysis of the results. CenterPoint also partnered with Learnosity, a provider of scalable assessment technologies, to launch its Previ Learn Assessments which give teachers real-time actionable data.
