Avetta provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) supply chain risk management platform that allows businesses to assess and manage vendor compliance, safety practices, sustainability, and other key performance indicators. The platform carries out pre-qualifications for suppliers and offers a network of 125,000+ vetted suppliers across 130 countries to ensure credibility and compliance across the supply network. In addition, the company’s cloud-based platform enables real-time monitoring and data-driven insights to enhance supply chain transparency and efficiency.

In January 2024, Avetta launched “AskAva,” a GenAI-powered assistant to boost contractor compliance and enhance safety measures within supply chains. Key features of AskAva include an interactive prompt system for accessing safety data and recommendations, risk assessment deployment for high-risk tasks, and personalized AI-based safety advice for third-party vendors. The company also works with a technology partner network that includes companies such as SAP, Coupa, Creditsafe, SecurityScorecard, DocuSign, and ZoomInfo Technologies to offer its solutions to customers.

In February 2019, Avetta completed a merger with BROWZ, a provider of SaaS-based supply chain risk management software. The merger strengthened the company’s global presence by expanding the company’s global network to over 100 countries. In July 2021, Avetta also acquired the Australia-based developer of worker competency management software Pegasus to accelerate its global growth strategy.

In April 2024, Sweden-based private equity firm EQT acquired Avetta from Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe (WCAS) for an undisclosed sum. At the time, Avetta's estimated value, including debt, was approximately USD 3 billion.

In July 2024, Avetta unveiled a series of innovations across its Avetta One platform, which includes products for managing worksite safety, subcontractor management, supplier analytics, and ESG risk and compliance. The new features include AskAva, an AI-powered risk assistant that provides pre-site Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and dynamic risk assessment recommendations. The enhanced subcontractor management solution improves supply chain visibility and compliance, supplier analytics dashboards offer insights into completion status, compliance, and variances, and ESG and sustainability tools enable suppliers to reduce carbon footprint, prevent forced labor, and adhere to ethical practices.

As of October 2023, Avetta served 500+ enterprise clients including companies such as QuadReal Property Group, Pacific National, Mulligan Funding, and NEXT Insurance.

In July 2024, Avetta partnered with ReGen Strategic, a leading ESG and impact advisory, to provide companies with solutions for improving supply chain sustainability and ESG performance. The partnership aimed to help companies comply with growing sustainability regulations, map and improve their supply chain sustainability and ESG performance, and deliver positive environmental and social impact.

In March 2023, the company also partnered with Sustain.Life, a company that provides a platform to measure and reduce the environmental impact of an organization, to make Sustain.Life's suite of ESG tools available to the company's network of suppliers.
