Kayhan Space is a space technology company that provides cloud-based software solutions to enable safe and sustainable space operations. It offers three main solutions:

Pathfinder, Kayhan Space's flagship product, is a space traffic management platform that helps satellite operators autonomously coordinate collision avoidance maneuvers. Using machine learning to analyze observation and telemetry data, Pathfinder provides satellite positioning, communication, and end-of-life management. It automatically adjusts satellite courses based on unique patterns and obstacles.

Elements is an astrodynamics estimation and orbit simulation software offering high-fidelity propagation and orbit determination across low Earth orbit (LEO), geostationary orbit (GEO), Extended Geostationary Orbit (xGEO), Cislunar, and interplanetary space. It features data-agnostic filters for processing various observation types, ensuring precise and versatile modeling of space object motion.

Gamut is a launch conjunction assessment (LCA) software that automates collision risk evaluation for launch trajectories, aiding commercial launch providers. It streamlines LCA requests for government clearance and offers multiple access options, including secure cloud-based APIs, a modern web UI, and an open-source SDK for easy integration.

Kayhan's Pathfinder 2.0 claims to allow operators to coordinate safe avoidance maneuvers for all spacecraft and operator missions by reducing response time to collision events by more than 95%.

Key customers and partnerships

As of September 2023, Pathfinder supported over 500 satellites for ~20 commercial and government operators. Its customers included Capella Space, Globalstar, and Lynk Global.

In March 2022, Kayhan Space partnered with Aurora Propulsion Technologies, a Finnish aerospace company, to launch Proact, a fully autonomous collision avoidance system to enhance space safety by integrating Aurora's propulsion technology with Kayhan's collision detection and avoidance system. In September 2022, Kayhan Space partnered with Precious Payload, a space tech company, to provide access to Pathfinder through Precious Payload's online workflow and solutions portal. The partnership aims to make Kayhan's collision avoidance and conjunction assessment software accessible to a wider range of satellite operators, systems developers, and integrators. In November 2022, Kayhan Space collaborated with Morpheus Space, to offer a pay-as-you-go subscription service that combines Kayhan's Pathfinder software with Morpheus' electric propulsion systems, enabling collision avoidance maneuvers. The companies have reported that some of the largest operators in LEO plan to deploy this integrated solution on satellite missions starting in 2023.
