AviaGames operates a mobile-based esports gaming platform where players can compete against each other for cash prizes. Its self-published platform, Pocket7Games, was developed and published in 2019 and features more than 10 games related to action, card, math, and brain games. Platform users are assigned a skill value based on their gaming performance and players with similar skill levels are matched using the platform’s AI-based algorithm. Players can compete in 1v1 or multiplayer competitions and cash tournament entry fees start at less than USD 1.

As of August 2021, the platform has hosted over 100 million monthly tournaments and distributed more than USD 400 million in prize money in the US. The platform revealed in August 2021 that its gross merchandise value (total entry fees paid by users) run rate has grown 21x to USD 836 million since January 2020. The company launched in the UK with the release of new titles “Solitaire Clash" and "Bingo Tour” in January 2022 .

AviaGames raised USD 40 million in a Series B funding round in August 2021. The round included the participation of ACME Capital, Washington Harbour Partners, Powerhouse Capital, and Makers Fund. Following the investment, Hany Nada (co-founder, ACME Capital) has joined AviaGames’ board.

The round follows its USD 8 million Series A round in May 2020 with the fresh funds expected to be funneled toward expanding its team and international presence, accelerating player acquisition, and developing new games on the platform. As of August 2021, AviaGames has more than 90 employees and expects to reach 130 by the end of 2021.
