Neutrino Protocol

Neutrino Protocol is an innovative decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that enables the creation of stablecoins pegged to various real-world assets, including fiat currencies and commodities. It operates on the Waves blockchain and employs an algorithmic approach to maintain the stability of its native stablecoin, USDN, which is pegged to the US dollar. The protocol comprises three core tokens: WAVES (the native token of the Waves blockchain used for paying transaction fees and collateralizing USDN), USDN (the algorithmic stablecoin), and NSBT (the governance and recapitalization token).

Neutrino Protocol's key offering is its DeFi toolkit, which simplifies the process of creating and managing stablecoins. This toolkit leverages smart contracts to facilitate the issuance of stablecoins backed by various assets, ensuring transparency and tamper-proof operations. Additionally, the protocol's Decentralized Forex (DeFo) extension enables instant swaps of stable-price assets, providing liquidity and fostering adoption.

The USDN stablecoin is overcollateralized by WAVES tokens, and its stability is maintained through an algorithmic mechanism that expands or contracts the supply by burning or minting WAVES tokens. USDN holders can earn attractive staking yields of up to 15% APY, incentivizing participation and promoting the token's utility. Moreover, NSBT token holders can participate in the protocol's governance by voting on proposals and receive a portion of transaction fees as passive income.
