Founded in 2012 by Felix Brandon Lloyd, Jordan Lloyd Bookey, and Tyler Ewing as a book-of-the-month type subscription company, Zoobean is an EdTech company providing personalized learning tools for readers. These include reading challenges, trackers, and literary resources through its “Beanstack” platform which is available as a web and mobile application. The company works with libraries, schools, and corporations to help motivate individuals to read and track their progress in an engaging way. Zoobean is backed by Mark Cuban who invested in the company in December 2013 after it was featured on the US venture capital TV show Shark Tank.
