Topkey provides a financial operation system designed to streamline expense management for hospitality managers. The platform, which transitioned from a marketplace model in mid-2021, offers automated expense tracking by property, reducing bookkeeping costs, and providing full control over spending. It allows users to issue cards with custom limits, tag receipts, and earn 1.5% cash-back on their cards.

The platform also integrates with property management systems in the vacation rental market, automating tasks such as sending purchase notifications to property managers, uploading receipts, assigning properties, and billing relevant parties. This integration, currently in beta, generates revenue through subscriptions.

Topkey's unique feature is its AI-powered receipt matching software, which auto-verifies receipts and syncs them with the company’s accounting software for streamlined expense reconciliation. This process is reportedly up to 5x faster than manual data entry.

As of July 2023, the company aimed at launching custom integrations for the company's property management tech stack, a Topkey marketplace with exclusive industry discounts and insights, providing smart vendor management and real-time alert features.

Funding and financials

In July 2023 , Topkey raised USD 5.2 million in a seed funding round led by Felicis. The funds were to be utilized to develop Topkey's platform further.
