Wilkinson Baking Company designs and manufactures a fully-automated 120” x 53” robotic bakery called “Breadbot”. The robot was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019, after over 20 years of research and development. Breadbot is capable of mixing, proofing, forming, baking, and cooling bread, and can produce 10 loaves an hour. Breadbot can operate 24/7, but requires around 30 minutes of daily cleaning.In July 2022, the company deployed its first commercial-ready BreadBot at Andy’s Market grocery store in College Place, Washington.  Dexai Robotics developed a robotic arm known as “Alfred” that works as a flexible food-preparation assistant using artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies. Alfred is a plug-and-play solution for restaurants and can be used to prepare salads and food bowls, without any alteration to restaurants’ layouts or recipes. The robot debuted in the 2019 Web Summit in Portugal, serving  2,500+ attendees over the course of two days. The platform is also capable of managing the food serving workflow to ensure freshness and correct assembly of orders.
