Island is a cybersecurity company that developed the world's first Enterprise Browser, introduced in February 2022. The Enterprise Browser is a Chromium-based web browser designed specifically for enterprise use, providing organizations with enhanced security, control, and governance over how users interact with SaaS and internal web applications.

The Enterprise Browser allows security teams to control various actions such as copy, paste, download, upload, screenshots, and other activities that could lead to data exfiltration. It offers features like safe browsing, web filtering, web isolation, exploit prevention, smart network routing, and Zero Trust access. This enables organizations to secure critical applications from data leakage, provide safe access for contractors and BYOD workers, and govern privileged user accounts while reducing dependency on virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).

In May 2023, Island introduced Self-Protection capabilities for the Enterprise Browser, providing additional cybersecurity features to shield installations from malware, prevent network traffic interception, block unauthorized browser extension installations, and detect tampering attempts.

Island, headquartered in Dallas with R&D in Tel Aviv, was co-founded by Mike Fey (CEO) and Dan Amiga (CTO). As of August 2022, the company had raised over USD 200 million and was valued at over USD 1.3 billion. In March 2024, Island announced its expansion into the UK and EMEA regions, opening an office in Reading and appointing Ashley Brinsford as Head of EMEA Sales.
