Pansophic Learning is a for-profit charter management organization operating charter schools. The company was launched by Safanad Limited, a global principal investment firm, and Ron Packard, former founder and CEO of Stride Inc. (previously K12 Inc.) Pansophic operates schools in the US, the UK, the Middle East, and Switzerland and operates early childhood education academies. Additionally, its Capital Education business partners with colleges to implement blended programs and fully online degree programs as an extension of their operations.
Pansophic’s growth has mainly been through acquisition. Following the company’s launch in 2014, it acquired several assets of Stride Inc. and acquired the International School of Berne (Switzerland). In 2015, the company took over the management of 12 elementary charter schools in Ohio from White Hat Management, a for-profit school operator. In addition, Pansophic Learning sponsors the Aurora Academies Trust that operates six schools in the South East of England, is party to a joint venture that runs several educational businesses in the Middle East and operates more than 10 early learning academies that prepare children for kindergarten. More recently, in September 2022, the firm acquired BBD Education, a management and consulting business in the Middle East, to expand its presence in the region.
