JaxJox introduced an interactive studio that comprises a kettlebell and two dumbbells with adjustable weights. The interactive studio is also equipped with a screen to stream live and on-demand classes. The digital, adjustable kettlebell, called the “KettlebellConnect 2.0,” has a weight range of 12 lbs to 42 lbs, while each dumbbell, referred to as “Dumbbell Connect,” has a range of 8 lbs to 50 lbs. The total weight range of JaxJox studio can go up to 142 lbs. The KettlebellConnect 2.0 and the DumbbellConnect are equipped with a real-time performance tracking that allows the system to capture performance data and send it to the JaxJox mobile user app. The company also uses a proprietary machine learning algorithm to calculate users' fitness IQ, reflecting the overall performance. Its devices are also equipped with one-touch weight adjustment technology to maintain smooth workoutflow.
JaxJox interactive studio is priced at USD 2,499 with a monthly studio subscription available for USD 39.99.
In October 2020, the company raised USD 10 million in Series A Funding from Dowgate Capital Ltd. and entrepreneur Nigel Wray, bringing the total funding to USD 17 million. The funds will be used to release its InteractiveStudio to customers in late 2020 and for global retail expansion.
