FORME Life has introduced a home exercise system that comprises a screen and two mechanical arms on the side for strength training, called the "Studio Lift.” The device is a close competition to Tonal. The company has also introduced another screen-only option with similar features to competitor Mirror- called the "Studio.” FORME Life screens are equipped with two stereoscopic cameras enabled with motion capture technology to guide the form and the technique of users. The two mechanical arms can create a resistance up to 150 lbs, and the operating system powered by machine learning and AI is capable of "spotting" and assisting users when weight training (by adjusting the resistance automatically).
FORME Life opened 11 retail locations across the US, with a flagship store in Westfield World Trade Center mall, New York in November 2020. The Studio, priced at USD 2,495 plus a membership fee of USD 39 per month, is scheduled to ship within 12–14 weeks. The Studio Lift is priced at USD 4,495, including delivery and installation, plus the membership fee.
FORME Life was co-founded and designed by Yves Behar, a renowned designer with clients such as Herman Miller, Movado, and Samsung.
