The Teal two is approved by the US Department of Defense as a Blue UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System) and is compliant with FAA Remote ID regulations.
Red Cat's subsidiary, Teal Drones, operates a 25,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company received a USD 750,000 Manufacturing Modernization Grant from the State of Utah in recognition of its domestic manufacturing efforts.
In December 2023, Red Cat endorsed the American Security Drone Act, which prohibits the federal government from procuring drones from countries deemed security threats, such as China. The company aims to support defense forces and federal agencies by providing secure, American-made drone solutions.
