Audi AG (XETR: NSU) is a German manufacturer of luxury vehicles and sports cars. It is a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group and operates as a separate entity. The company is reputed in the automotive industry for its range of luxury cars, receiving the World Luxury Car and World Performance Car awards at the World Car Awards in 2019 and 2022, respectively. In 2022, Audi generated ~EUR 62 billion (USD 73 billion) in total revenue.

Audi AG comprises four operating segments: 1) Audi, a luxury car manufacturer with a large portfolio; 2) Bentley, a luxury car and SUV manufacturer and designer that joined in 2022 and offers services such as roadside assistance and service maintenance as well as accessories like exterior styling; 3) Lamborghini, a luxury sports car and SUV manufacturer that also provides after-sales services such as maintenance, restoration, training courses, and certification; and 4) Ducati, a motorcycle and sport bike manufacturer that also offers bike-related accessories and apparel. 

Audi’s geographical market is divided into four regions: Europe (~49%), the US (~21%), China (~18%), and Other Markets (~12%). As of October 2023, Audi expected 2023 revenue to increase to EUR 69 billion–72 billion and customer deliveries to increase to 1.8 million–1.9 million units. Its plant in Changchun, which will be operational in 2024, will be Audi’s first plant in China to exclusively manufacture fully electric Audi vehicles. The company plans to become net carbon neutral by 2050 and offer all-electric vehicles across all its core segments by 2027.
