Glydways develops autonomous electric vehicles known as “Glydcars,” a personal rapid transit (PRT) system that can ferry up to 10,000 people per hour, per lane/direction on its dedicated lanes. It can carry up to four passengers at a time. Glydcars are also designed to accommodate items like bicycles and luggage, omitting traditional car components such as trunks and hoods. The vehicles comply fully with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and come equipped with space for wheelchair access.
