Philips (AMS: PHIA) is a Dutch multinational corporation that has been in operation since the 1890s. It specializes in medical technology and offers solutions in three primary segments: Diagnosis and Treatment, Connected Care, and Personal Health. In 2023, Philips recorded total revenue of EUR 18.1 billion (~USD 19.4 billion).

Under the Diagnosis and Treatment segment, Philips offers solutions such as diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, enterprise diagnostic informatics, and image-guided therapy. The Connected Care segment includes hospital patient monitoring, emergency care, sleep and respiratory care, and connected care informatics. The third segment, Personal Health, comprises oral healthcare, mother and child care, and personal care-related product and service solutions. In terms of revenue, North America is the largest market for Philips, accounting for ~42% of sales in 2023. 

Philips expects to deliver 3%–5% comparable sales growth in 2024 (1.9% in 2023) and an adjusted EBITA margin of 11%–11.5% (16.6% in 2023). Phillips’ renewable energy use reached 78% in 2023, already exceeding its target of 75% by 2025. It also plans to generate ~25% of its revenue from Eco-Hero products (Philips’ sustainable product range) by 2025.
