Poseidon's product portfolio includes an integrated life support platform, integrated cage technology, water quality management products, and semi-closed marine aquaculture systems.

One of Poseidon's key technologies is the Flowpressor, an innovative compressor system designed specifically for the aquaculture industry. The Flowpressor has demonstrated significant reductions in energy consumption for off-grid fish farming systems, with reports of 50-60% reduction in algae inside pens, improved fish survival, and enhanced growth due to fewer lost feeding days. Another notable product is the Oxypressor, which helps with oxygenation of water on farms.

In March 2024, Poseidon completed a USD 20.75 million USD Series B funding round led by Ecosystem Integrity Fund, with participation from InBC Investment Corp. and Export Development Canada. The company plans to use this funding to expand its manufacturing capacity, deepen relationships with existing customers in Canada, Chile, and the UK, and explore new markets globally.

Key customers and partnerships

Poseidon Ocean Systems serves some of the world's largest salmon farmers, with customers in Canada, Chile, and the UK. In April 2024, the company announced a distribution partnership with Norway-based technology provider Fjord Miljø, allowing Poseidon to bring its life support and hybrid sea cage technology to new customers in Norway.

In May 2021, Scottish Sea Farms, one of the UK's leading salmon farming companies, began trials of Poseidon's Flowpressor system to protect its salmon from potentially harmful plankton. Poseidon has also worked with Cermaq Canada, deploying its Flowpressor aeration compressor systems at two of Cermaq's farm sites in British Columbia from May through November 2021.
