Airrow has developed an autonomous drone station called the Dronehub, enabling autonomous drone ground operations. The Dronehub is a drone-in-a-box solution designed for remote missions where drones can be deployed on-demand or operate continuously, day and night. It automates various drone services, including landing, battery charging, and payload swapping processes.
The Dronehub integrates seamlessly with nearly any drone, sensor, or payload, making it agnostic to the hardware. It features climate control and a weather station, allowing it to operate under all weather conditions, making it suitable for outdoor use. The Dronehub's intelligent battery management system keeps the drone batteries at an optimal temperature, significantly extending their lifetime and performance during flight.
The Dronehub's rugged and heavy-duty design makes it vandal-proof and theft-resistant, ensuring its suitability for demanding use cases. Airrow aims to enable safe, persistent, and efficient drone operations through the Dronehub.
In May 2024, Airrow secured a Phase I contract from the US Air Force (USF) through the AFWERX program, worth USD 74,616. The contract focuses on utilizing Airrow's Autonomous Dronehub to address critical challenges faced by the Department of the Air Force (DAF). Airrow aims to provide innovative capabilities that will strengthen the national defense of the US.
