Innatera is a Dutch nanotech company which produces analog-mixed signal computing circuits that mimic the brain’s functions for pattern recognition to deliver faster AI per watt. As per the company, its neuromorphic processing chip allows sensor data to be processed 100 times faster with up to 500 times less energy than traditional processors.

This enables a range of applications, such as intelligent speech processing in human-machine interfaces, monitoring vitals in wearable devices, recognizing targets in radars and lidars, and detecting faults in industrial and automotive applications.

In November 2020, the company raised EUR 5 million (approximately USD 5.9 million) in seed funding. It intends to use the funds to boost research and development and expand its team to increase product development efforts throughout 2021. As of November 2020, the company had around 15 employees at its Delft headquarters and is in the process of setting up a design center in Bangalore, India.
