Nearby Computing is a Spanish edge computing and orchestration solution provider. It is a spin-off of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).

Nearby Computing's customer base includes enterprises across telecommunications, energy and utilities, smart cities, energy, transportation, and entertainment industries. Notable customers include Intel, Etisalat, Cisco, Red Hat, and Saguna.
The company partnered with Lenovo to develop 5G network transformation and Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) solutions, utilizing Lenovo’s edge servers and Intel’s Converged Edge Reference Architecture (CERA). Additionally, partnerships with Telefónica, Orange, and Telenor aim to enhance customer experiences and support the rollout of Telco Edge services using Nearby Computing’s orchestration platform, Nearby One.
Nearby Computing has also teamed up with Red Hat and VMware to deliver integrated solutions for multi-cloud environments, leveraging Red Hat’s OpenShift Container Platform and VMware’s virtualization technologies to provide scalable and efficient edge computing services.
In May 2024, Nearby partnered with Alea, a public safety communications platform, to simplify and increase efficiency in deploying Alea's MCXPTT (Mission Critical Communications Push-to-Talk) application through the NearbyOne platform.
It also teamed up with Kyndryl in May 2024, to provide joint edge computing services. Kyndryl will use Nearby Computing's NearbyOne platform to streamline launching business apps at the edge, tailoring pre-integrated apps for various industries.
