Authentise

Authentise is a provider of software solutions for additive manufacturing (AM). It uses a data-driven workflow management technology that helps to manage the manufacturing and production of prototypes and parts by following a process of production planning, digital parts library, monitoring, reporting, and KPI analytics. The company claims that its software helps reduce the processing time of orders by around 80% while reducing build preparation time by over 95%. In October 2022, Authentise launched the “Digital Design Warehouse” platform to enable users to share digital designs with ease. The platform allows users to upload any 2D or 3D file type with fully configurable additional parameters to create a personal library. The platform also allows users to share their designs with internal and external stakeholders including clients. It also announced the general availability of a rebranded workflow management suite for additive manufacturing named FlowsAM in December 2022. In June 2023, the company released 3DGPT, a generative AI-based tool that allows users to ask questions on additive manufacturing.

In February 2022, Authentise acquired a UK-based provider of self-serve workflow tools for manufacturing Elements Technology to offer customers a connected workflow management solution to manage their operations efficiently.

Authentise has partnered with several AM companies including Solukon (2021), Riven (2021), Hexagon (2021), Nebumind (2020), and Addiguru (2020) to improve its product offerings. Some of the company’s customers include Boeing, Ricoh, 3M, Danfoss, and Carpenter Additive.

Funding and financials

In December 2021, an Authentise-led AM consortium was awarded a UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) grant to develop solutions that improve energy efficiency and material efficiency in ceramic and metal AM. The company has offices in Philadelphia, London, and Kyiv.
