Fanhouse is a content creator monetization platform founded in 2020 by Rosie Nguyen, Khoi Le, and Jerry Meng. The platform allows creators to share exclusive content, connect with fans, and monetize their work through various features like subscriptions, tips, locked messages, and custom video requests. Unlike platforms that focus on adult content, Fanhouse positions itself as a PG-13 platform, prohibiting sexually explicit material. The company takes a 10% commission on transactions, allowing creators to keep 90% of their earnings. As of May 2022, Fanhouse had paid out over USD 10 million to more than 700 creators and had approximately 5,600 monthly active users. The platform offers unique features such as watermarking to prevent content leaks and a Spotify integration that allows top listeners of certain artists to access their Fanhouse content for free. In July 2023, Fanhouse was acquired by Passes, a similar startup founded by Lucy Guo.
