 <p>CoStar Group is set to acquire Matterport, a platform specialising in 3D spatial data capture. The transaction, composed of cash and stock, is valued at USD 5.50 per share. This gives an equity value of roughly USD 2.1 billion and an enterprise value of about USD 1.6 billion, based on the CoStar Group's stock closing price as of April 19, 2024. The acquisition is yet to be approved by Matterport's shareholders and meet normal closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.</p>
