Softr

Germany-based Softr provides a no-code platform for users to build custom apps such as marketplaces, online communities, internal tools, client portals, and directories, using data from Airtable , Google Sheets, relational databases, and REST APIs. Users can build web apps with CRUD (create, read, update, delete) operations as well as access controls for authentication, roles, and permissions in business and consumer applications. 

Softr offers over 70 “building blocks” to users, with each block representing logical pieces of applications, including frontend functionalities, business logic, and backend tools (such as authentication, payments, charts, lists, and calendars). Additionally, it also offers integrations to third-party software such as Zapier, Google Analytics, Stripe, Hotjar, Mailchimp, and more, as well as a marketplace that enables users to create and sell apps in the form of templates.

As of February 2024, the platform was used by over 300,000 teams across enterprises such as Google, Harvard Business School, MIT, Universal, and Hopin. 

Funding and financials

In January 2022, Softr raised USD 13.5 million in Series A funding led by FirstMark Capital.
