Interplai

Interplai is a technology company that offers AI-based software and robotics solutions to optimize last-mile delivery. Its key products include 1) “Interplai Direct,” an AI-powered SaaS solution to optimize delivery routes for fleets; 2) “Interplai Connect,” a capacity-as-a-service (CaaS) solution that connects companies to available delivery resources on demand; and 3) “Interplai Deliver,” a robot-as-a-service (RaaS) offering that uses sidewalk delivery robots to provide additional capacity to Interplai Direct and Interplai Connect customers. The droids will be deployed upon customer request to deliver items such as food, medicine, and parcels.

The robots act as part of its multi-robot system (MRS), which coordinates a set of robots deployed in the same setting. As such, the tasks assigned to robots can be shared with other robots in the system. The robots are also of a modular design, which allows the company to load multiple and customized cargo containers increasing cargo capacity for deliveries.

The droids are loaded into an autonomous delivery van dubbed “Mothership,” which carries the droids to a specific location for deployment.
