Connected Living offers a secure, cloud-based social media platform for senior living residents. In addition, the company’s Temi Robot assists the nursing staff in senior living centers with day-to-day operations while connecting residents with family members and physicians when required. Temi offers protection, connection, and engagement in individual residence rooms and all gathering areas, including building entrances.
The platform operates a SaaS model with a freemium version and paid plans starting at USD 7.49/month. Under the free version, users can share videos and important moments with their inner circle of family and friends, including social networking, transportation services, and location sharing capabilities. Additionally, it provides community information such as calendars, menus, alerts, and photos.
In March 2021, the company was acquired by Omega Healthcare Investors to bring the technology to its housing facilities. The acquisition price was not disclosed. Omega’s REITs portfolio includes more than 945 senior housing and skilled nursing properties in the US and worldwide.
