Regate

Based in France, Regate offers a payout management platform partnering closely with accounting softwares that improve the user experience when managing receipts as well as tracking and making payments. Accordingly, the platform covers the entire vendor payment process, across invoice data extraction through OCR, automating approval flows, and enabling real-time and scheduled payments through several methods (SEPA transfers, batch payments, virtual and physical bank cards, etc.). The company enables its users to issue virtual and physical cards through its partnership with Treezor.

Regate charges its users based on a subscription basis, with packages starting at EUR 130 per month and varying based on the number of users, cards, invoices processed, and expense reports, among others. The platform claims to reduce invoice and payment processing time by up to 90%. 

Key customers and partnerships

Regate caters to both accounting departments and accounting firms and is deeply integrated with a wide range of accounting softwares including  Sage, Cegid, and MyUnisoft. Its customers primarily consist of SMBs, and Regate had around 10,000 clients as of September 2022, including Le Slip Français, Jimmy Fairly, Cityscoot, and Skello. 

Funding and financials

Regate raised USD 20 million in Series A funding in September 2022, led by Valar Ventures, to invest in product development and expanding its presence to Germany and Spain.
