AS Monaco Gambit

The esports team AS Monaco Gambit, was launched as a result of the partnership between AS Monaco Esports, gaming division of the French football club AS Monaco and the Russian firm Mobile TeleSystems (MTS). The team will compete in Dota 2 and Fortnite. The rosters will consist of five Dota 2 and three Fortnite professional players. AS Monaco Gambit will promote AS Monaco by wearing the club’s jersey. The Fortnite roster makes its debut at the Fortnite Champion Series on 11 February 2021, while the Dota 2 team will make an appearance on 14 February during the ESL One CIS Online competition. The creation of the joint team will give the organizations an opportunity to enter the international esports space while MTS becomes the first Russian Esports club to have an affiliation with a foreign team. Furthermore, a gamut of co-branded products will be available online and in MTS branches across Russia.
