RocketRez provides ticketing and operations services for mid-market tours and attractions operators with revenue between USD 2 million to USD 200 million. It helps these operators manage all their revenue streams through a single platform and offers centralized data and analytics for a better understanding of customers. The company serves clients in industries such as boat tours and ferries, zoos and aquariums, and museums and galleries. It is headquartered in Canada with an engineering, operations, and marketing team, and a salesforce presence throughout the US, with an expansion into Europe.

The platform offers a range of features, such as online and on-site ticketing through e-commerce, point-of-sale, and contactless kiosks, revenue management, business intelligence, customer management, and retail and food and beverage sales. The pricing for RocketRez is subscription-based, with the option of customizing a price plan and adding extra features based on the customer's needs.

Key customers and partnerships

RocketRez reported significant growth between 2021 and 2023, with a doubling of its customer base, employees, geographical reach, and platform transactions. Key customers include attractions and experiences platforms such as Xtreme Xperience, Belle of Louisville, Reunion Tower and Governors Island. The company reported an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of USD 5 million, as of January 2023. In May 2022, RocketRez partnered with enterprise risk management company Protecht to launch RocketRez's TourShield Ticket Insurance, an online-based ticket insurance product for risks such as weather, travel restrictions and illness.

Funding and financials

In January 2023, RocketRez received CAD 20 million (~USD 15 million) in a Series B funding round led by Level Equity. Charles Chen (from Level Equity) joined RocketRez's board of directors after the investment. The company planned to use the funding to increase its presence in Europe, expand its offerings for end-to-end guest experiences into new industries like theme parks and water parks, and invest in engineering and product development.
