Monument is a fully-licensed British neobank that provides savings and credit products to the mass affluent market, including professionals, property investors, and entrepreneurs. It offers savings accounts and fixed-term deposits with a minimum deposit of GBP 25,000 (~USD 34,000) as well as loans for property investment, including buy-to-let arrangements and short-term real estate finance.
It also offers a mobile app for multichannel communication through which users can contact bank personnel through live chat, phone, video, and email while switching between them easily. Monument also claims to be the first bank in the UK to offer video and co-browsing capabilities, which enable contact center personnel to access and navigate a customer’s browser in real time.

Funding and Financials
In November 2023, Monument raised GBP 40 million (~USD 50 million) in a Series B funding round, at a pre-money valuation of over GBP 150 million (~USD 184 million). In addition, the neobank stated that it has begun discussions to raise at least GBP 100 million (~USD 124.7 million) in Series C funding.
In 2022, Monument Bank’s net operating income was GBP 3.8 million (~USD 4.8 million), and its net loss for the year increased by 28.8% to GBP 12.7 million (~USD 16.1 million).
