Omeda Studios

Omeda Studio is a London based game developer.

In March 2021, the company announced its USD 2.2 million funding round led by GFR Fund. The round included participation from Inventure, Progression Fund, 1Up Ventures, Aream & Co., Ride Ventures, and angel investors. As part of the investment, the managing partner of GFR Fund, Teppei Tsutsui, will join Omeda’s board.

The fresh capital will go toward building Predecessor, the company’s cross-platform, third-person multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. Specifically, Omeda plans to double its studio’s size and make key hires, including senior gameplay programmers, Unreal Engine programmers, lead VFX artists, and technical artists.

Omeda plans to complete alpha testing and launch the games’ early access version in 2021. The game will be based on the assets of Epic Games’ canceled MOBA game, Paragon, which were released to developers by Epic Games in July 2018. The final version is expected by the end of 2022. In addition, the company has received a mega grant from Epic Games in support of the development.

The founder, Robbie Singh, was an influencer streaming Paragon when it was canceled and seems to have the support of other community members, with 100,000 signups and 35,000 discord members already.
