Optery

Optery allows individuals to identify and remove personally identifiable information (PII) from people search sites, data brokers, and other malicious websites. The platform generates a report with a list of these websites as a free service, along with instructions to opt out, opt-out links for each website, and screenshots of the user’s PII for confirmation. Users may choose to opt-out themselves, or use Optery’s paid automatic opt-out service. 

The paid service continuously monitors new and existing data broker sites, and utilizes a patented internal search engine and web crawler which are able to avoid bot detection systems to opt out and remove PII.

Optery also offers an enterprise platform, designed to allow IT teams the ability to remove PII of an organization’s employees from the web, and minimize digital footprint.

As of May 2023, Optery covered over 240 data broker sites.
