Trava Security is a cyber risk management and insurance startup that is a spinout of the venture firm, High Alpha. The company provides a platform that is designed to help SMBs assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks with cyber risk management features such as threat detection, threat management, incident response, and insurance risk assessment.

Trava Security also underwrites its own cyber insurance policies.

Funding and financials

In August 2022, the company secured USD 4.5 million extension to its seed funding round led by Mercury Fund. The funds were utilized to further develop its cybersecurity software platform, grow its employee headcount of 27 across the sales, marketing, and cyber risk insurance divisions.

Since March 2021, Trava Security has recorded more than 600% growth, as of August 2022.
