General Vision

General Vision is a technology company specializing in neuromorphic hardware and artificial intelligence solutions. The company's flagship product is the NeuroShield board, which features a digital neural network of 576 neurons, expandable to 4032 neurons. This hardware is designed to learn features extracted from single or multiple sensors through simple interactions or programmatic events managed by ARM or FPGA of ZYNQ SOC. The NeuroMem neurons utilized in General Vision's technology are capable of intrinsic learning and recognition, distinguishing them from conventional Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) or Deep Learning approaches. This technology allows for immediate results after teaching a few relevant examples of each category, without requiring access to massive databases of annotated models. The NeuroShield can be interfaced with a PC via USB connector, and the knowledge built by the neurons can be saved and exchanged between platforms using General Vision's software tools. As of July 2019, the company had successfully tested its NeuroShield board with ZYNQ platforms, including the Digilent Arty Z7 and the Avnet MiniZed, demonstrating compatibility with various development boards.
