Koltiva’s AgriTech-related solutions include a trading platform (KoltiTrade), which allows farmers to trade crop inputs, crops, and carbon credits, and a management information system solution (KoltiTrace), which promotes traceability by connecting farmers to global supply chains.
As of November 2022, the company’s solution covered more than 30 commodities including cocoa, coffee, palm oil, and rubber and had over 700,000 farmers and 7,000 business customers across 27 countries registered on its various platforms. The company claims that its solutions help improve farmers’ average yields by 70% and prices by 48%.
In September 2023, Koltiva has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from a series A funding round, led by AC Ventures with few other participants to expand its software-as-a-service solution for multinational corporations to have “supply chain traceability from seed to table.” Previously, In September 2022, the company raised an undisclosed amount in an oversubscribed funding round led by Silverstrand Capital to support the development of existing technologies and commercialization of two new platforms KoltiTrade and KoltiPay.
