ifeel is an AI-powered proprietary telepsychiatry platform that provides access to licensed psychologists for video consultations and chat-based therapy via a mobile app. In addition, the company offers self-care tools such as daily mood trackers, stress-relieving exercises, and mindfulness activities. 

Headquartered in Spain, ifeel began its operations in 2017 as a D2C platform and later branched out into the B2B market in 2020. Individual users can access the platform directly with a monthly subscription fee of EUR 30 (USD 36.50) per week for a 1-month plan or as part of an employer’s or insurer’s coverage. The company’s main advantage is that it matches patients with the right therapist and is an anonymous service where users do not need to provide their real name. Furthermore, the company offers HR managers monthly reports, internal and external communication support, and a professional overview of a customer’s employee base.

As of November 2022, the platform has over 800,000 users, 600 therapists, and has a market presence in over 23 countries supporting 21 languages. 

Funding and financials

In November 2022, ifeel raised EUR 10 million (USD 10.4 million) in a Series A funding round led by UNIQA Ventures, along with participation from Nauta Capital. The funds raised were set aside to expand the company’s geographic footprint, develop new products, and to increase its sales capabilities.
