QLASH

Italian esports team organization QLASH, with a presence in Italy and Spain, had amassed prize winnings of almost USD 1 million as of July 2022. It fields teams across game titles such as Starcraft, Call of Duty, Fortnite, and FIFA. Its community app had more than 20,000 monthly active users and had been used to organize more than 3,000 esports events and competitions as of July 2022.

QLASH raised EUR 2.6 million (~USD 2.7 million) in seed funding from a group of angel investors including Marvin Vettori (Italian UFC fighter), Francesca Piccinini (Italian volleyball player), and Victor Camarasa (Spanish football player). The fresh capital was allocated to further develop its community platform and expand into new markets including the MENA and LatAm regions.
