Collabio Spaces

Collabio Spaces allows teams to co-edit documents in real-time via a local network. The platform offers a range of features such as audio commenting, electronic signatures, and PDF annotations. As of April 2021, it is only available on iOS and macOS devices while Android and Windows versions are expected to launch in 2021. The software can accommodate upwards of five users simultaneously on desktop and mobile devices.

Collabio allows users to collaborate without the risk of uploading sensitive information to the cloud unlike shared documents on platforms such as Google Docs. Although it does not have extensive features or remote collaboration capabilities yet, the company prioritizes security by allowing users to collaborate only within a local network. The platform will expand its document collaboration function in the near future for users to function over any network, bypassing the requirement of a remote server to preserve its security. In addition, the software allows users to forego collating and manually resolving feedback.

The application has received an undisclosed amount of funding from private investors and plans to raise more funds in the future to enhance its product offering. As of April 2021, the platform has received approximately 15,000 downloads. The company reported over 1,000 users as of April 2021. Collabio charges a subscription fee of USD 5.99 per month per user.
