PIXO’s workplace training platform PIXO Apex was launched in 2020 and it claims to be the world’s first-ever open system XR platform. PIXO Apex is compatible with any headset and integrates with all learning management systems so that companies can manage and deliver AR/VR training programs. It offers a library of AR/VR workplace training content in areas such as workplace safety, first responders and hazard recognition, diversity and inclusion and manual labor processes.
The company also offers no-code tools for users to create their own simulations, with cross platform compatibility utilizing Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Spaces Developer XR platform, and scenario randomization. PIXO VR claims that it is able to build custom content in a month or less, offering 50% savings in terms of time and costs in comparison to other engines.
It generates revenue through subscription fees (USD 475/month) from its content library.
