Founded in 2020 by former Amazon employees Raunak Nirmal and Wiley Zhang, the company employs a meticulous evaluation process to identify ideal acquisition targets within trending categories like pet supplies, home, and kitchen. Post-acquisition, Acquco optimizes brands for efficient operations on Amazon through paid marketing, SEO, and content strategies. It also expands brands to other marketplaces such as Walmart, Target, and Wayfair.
In 2022, Acquco generated USD 420 million in revenue and aimed to double that figure by the end of the year. The company raised USD 160 million in a Series A funding round in May 2021. Acquco has acquired over 40 brands to date and achieved record-breaking sales growth of 107% year-over-year during Amazon Prime Day 2022, driven by top-performing brands like LuxClub Bedsheets, Liba, Sigtuna, Scala, and PowerLix.
To further enhance its capabilities, Acquco launched tech and analytics divisions in 2022. The tech division is developing an AI-powered platform to streamline operations across marketplaces, while the analytics division supports the company's international expansion plans, particularly in APAC and EU markets.
