Founded in 2011, Maven Meals is a prepared meal service for the greater Seattle and Tacoma area, offering freshly prepared meals (“reheat and eat”), focusing on nutritious culinary options. Healthy meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bakery items are prepared by Maven Meals’ franchise teams and delivered weekly.

The meals are portion-controlled, hence breakfast and dinner choices are priced as low as USD 2.50 while lunch options start at USD 4.25.

In addition, the prepared meal service provides the “Maven Market Fridge” option to employees, paving the way for access to fresh food at the workplace. According to the company, clients report 72% employee participation, with the average client saving 136 hours per month as a result of employees eating onsite.

In May 2021, the company launched a premier meal prep and delivery franchise program allowing franchisees to deliver prepared meals directly to their customers. The Maven Meals franchise program involves a low initial investment and requires no retail location. The program includes logistical solutions, a database of menus and recipes, kitchen and workflow management assistance, and provides franchise partners access to customer information such as serving size, dietary tags, and ingredients. The program is available in Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, and Idaho, with plans to expand nationally.
