Based in Singapore, Moonstake offers a DeFi wallet that enables users to store, transact, and stake cryptocurrencies. Offered as both a web and mobile wallet, Moonstake supports over 2,000 cryptocurrencies (as of November 2022) and offers staking services that leverage its own validator nodes as well as other nodes around the world. This enables users to earn yields on their crypto assets. The company also provides enterprises with a team to support the development and maintenance of the staking pool nodes. As of May 2024, Moonstake supported staking on 18 blockchains with a total locked value (TVL) of USD 158.4 million.
Key customers and partnerships
Moonstake has partnered with over 25 blockchain companies including Emurgov (developer of the Astar Network blockchain) and the TRON Network. In November 2022, the company partnered with SSV Network, an Ethereum staking dApp infrastructure provider, to integrate SSV's architecture to support its existing validator infrastructure and promote its ecosystems. It went on to partner with Unstoppable Domains, a domain name solutions provider, in December. The partnership enabled users to utilize a "crypto username" instead of wallet addresses to make transactions with others and interact with applications and services supported by Unstoppable Domains.
In February 2023, Moonstake partnered with Humans.ai, an AI and blockchain startup, to support the development of AI-powered blockchain applications for the Asian market.
Funding and financials
In November 2022, Moonstake received an undisclosed amount in a staking pool integration grant from SSV Network to integrate Ethereum staking features on the Moonstake Wallet.
