Yendo offers credit cards backed by personal vehicles to individuals with subprime credit. Customers can apply through the Yendo app, submitting photos of their car and title for confirming condition and ownership of the vehicle. Once approved, customers can access credit ranging from USD 450 to USD 10,000.
In addition, the company reports to credit bureaus to help customers build their credit scores and also works with customers to create a plan to get back on track if they fall behind on payments to avoid car repossession. The company charges the higher of 3% of a customer’s monthly statement or USD 50 if a customer fails to settle their monthly payments. It also charges a 3% fee for foreign transactions and a 5% fee for balance transfers. In addition, it offers a vehicle loan refinancing option through the Yendo credit card of up to USD 10,000.

Fundings and financials
In May 2024, Yendo raised USD 165 million in equity and debt funding. The debt funding was led by i80, while the equity was raised from undisclosed strategic investors.
